The Oregon MacPioneers user group was founded in 1999 as a statewide Apple Users Group (then officially connected with the Apple Users Group Program), and has been serving, assisting all active community users groups in Oregon (and a few beyond). We created a statewide annual MUG event that was hosted in a different Oregon user group town each year. This event featured an on-stage trivia contest between 3-4 groups (the winner received the Golden Apple trophy for the year), sponsor tables, display tables, attendee prizes and all moderated by a special guest Master of Ceremonies. OMUG continues its purpose today, although more online than in person.
